The Whiteplains Homeowners and the Whiteplains Homeowners Association had a scheduled, called meeting on July 10, 2002 at Niel Bonacum’s hangar.

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Perry at 7:05 p.m.

1. The Minutes of the May 23, 2002 meeting were approved with minor corrections. Closed.

2. The Treasurer presented the financial status of the Association. Details are available from the Treasurer. Closed.

The Treasurer presented a list of Open Invoices as 6-18-02 for the HOA. Open are:

Further, the Treasurer presented a list of Open Invoices for the HOA for Aviation Fees. Open are:

Fred Burns Invoice 8 and 28

Steve Bresse Invoice 32

The Association will pursue interest and legal fees on these open accounts and the offenders have lost their ability to participate in HOA functions and to vote in HOA matters, until these fees are resolved. The HOA will use George Nicolson as our attorney and Mr. Bonacum will front the attorney fees.

3. Mr. Perry presented a "set" of letters from and to Fred Burns. Mr. Burns requested copies of all the HOA records. His request was "denied." Closed.

4. The Treasurer presented a list of Tractor Funds Donations. Thanks to those who donated the equipment and those that continue to donate to their use and maintenance. Closed.

5. The Newsletter has not been published. The editors, represented by Nancy Bonacum, agreed to provide the final contributions later in the evening, after the Board Meeting. Not Closed.

6. July 13 was set as a "work day" for spreading the new mulch around the main entrance. Closed.

7. The Board discussed issuing a new neighborhood directory. Niel is to provide John Gardner with all the updates (new sales), John is to update the Treasurer’s records and provide Terry Yon with an electronic copy of the Treasurer’s list. Not Closed.

8. The Board held its scheduled walk through of the neighborhood. The Board developed a list of A, B, C items (priority and ownership.) Mr. Perry will provide the Secretary a list within a couple of days detailing the findings for publication in the Newsletter. Not Closed.

10. The Board had a detailed discussion of the Legal Case involving Fred Burns in reference to actions and reactions of both parties. We can expect more activity in this case in the near future. Anyone wishing details should contact the President of the Board or the Developer.
